Indexes to Convert MATIC to POL at 1:1 Ratio Upon Criteria Fulfillment

Stockholm (2024-08-20) - In alignment with the upcoming transition from MATIC to POL, scheduled for September 4, we would like to inform all stakeholders that Vinter indexes will convert their current MATIC allocations to an equivalent POL (1:1 ratio) once the following criteria are satisfied:

  1. Eligibility Verification: The POL token must meet all eligibility requirements, including sufficient trading volume, market capitalization, and exchange eligibility confirmations.

  2. Market Capitalization Condition: The transition will be initiated only after POL's market capitalization surpasses that of MATIC.

  3. Data Sufficiency: Adequate data sources must be available to calculate POL per Vinter’s methodologies.

If the transition has not been fully completed by the end of September, we will temporarily use the combined market capitalization of MATIC and POL for rebalancing at the end of September. The newly allocated POL will be priced according to the Vinter POL reference rate.
